FINANCIAL REPORT

Sue Dyer reported that we currently have a total of $2,361.79 in our General Account.

MEMBERSHIP REPORT

Sue Dyer received due payments from 23 people which gave us a total of $690.00.

CONCESSION STAND

Thanks to Maria Springer for running the Concession Stand and to everyone else who donated items and helped out.  Our total profit was $600.00 less the cost of the Cinnabons.

MUM SALE

The total profit from the Mum sale was $413.75.  Thanks to Marci Harmon and everyone who sold and purchased Mums.

CLOTHING SALE

Debbie Thompson reported a total profit of $250.00 for all the clothing that was sold.  Thanks to Debbie and everyone who purchased clothing.

BEAD SALE

Thanks to Lynn Hoehlein for running the bead sale.  Lynn and her husband Bill sold beads at our first home game and made a total of $93.00.  The cost of the beads for us to purchase was approximately $39.00.

FOOTBALL PROGRAM

This year the cheerleaders had three pages in the Football Program.  You can purchase a program at any of our home games.

PICTURES

Cheerleading pictures will be given out, this Thursday, at practice.

A group picture of the cheerleaders will be taken at our home game on Friday, September 25th, at 6:00 p.m.  This picture will be put in the yearbook.

HOMECOMING

Homecoming will be held on October 16th.  All the cheerleaders will be decorating the senior football players’ bedrooms the night before the game.  Please get in touch with the football players parents to confirm a time to decorate the room.  Please do not decorate the room with glitter or anything messy.  Balloon, streamers and baked items are some acceptable things to use.

SENIOR NIGHT

Senior Night will be held on November 6th.  We are trying to get approval to have the cheerleaders announced during half time.

All senior cheerleaders will need to do a bio and give names of who will be escorting them on Senior Night.

There are twelve senior girls and Moms.  We were thinking of purchasing a flower for the girls to carry and a corsage for the Moms.  The flowers are $2.50 each and the corsages are $8.50 each.  Debbie Thompson is going to check with another florist to see if we can get a cheaper price.

BANQUET DATE

Banquet possibly to be held at Minebrook Country Club.  Date to be announced.

The cheerleaders will soon be collecting $5.00 for gifts to give to the coaches at the banquet.

We will need pictures of all the girls for a DVD that will be made to watch at the banquet.

We need someone to volunteer to make a DVD with these pictures.

NEW BUSINESS

Possibly sell candy and Poinsettias to raise money.  Marci will be looking into this.

The Long Valley Raiders asked us to do an exhibition at the LVR Cheer Fest Competition being held on October 25th at the Middle School.  They are waiting to hear from our coaches.

We will be sending flowers from the girls to Janice Cazes who was injured and is recuperating at Kessler.

NEXT MEETING DATE

         To be determined-October.

Meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.

Respectfully submitted by Linda Leonard
